Vivian Felix

Secretary

Vivian's goals are to always bring in wider perspectives that keep us in touch with what is most important and to provide inspiration, support and wisdom from her uniquely individually lived experiences.  She loves that all forms of art can embrace dissonance and difference.  Vivian has a Masters Degree in Environmental Design, where she has designed backpacks for GPS equipment to ergonomic microscope stands.

She has written a childrens' book called "Jars", articles about cross country skiing in WinterWest Magazine, and articles such as "Designing for Real People: Adopting a Philosophy of Universal Design to Use in Practice" for trade journals.  Vivian is an abstract artist across diverse and overlapping media; and is very excited to incorporate film as part of her journey.

Lynne Karen-Mckenna

Director

Lynne Karey-McKenna hates writing bios but LOVES learning and being around talented, creative people so when she moved to West Creston from Abbotsford in 2022, she knew she was with her people and quickly got on the boards of Creston Valley Film Society and Footlighters Theatre Society, as well as joining the creative team of crafters at The Tuck Shop, which supports the Hospital.

Lynne is also a volunteer with the Emergency Support Services and a supporter of The Bleeding Tree Film Festival.  Lynne is an award wnning performer and director and Theatrical Arts and Improvisational Theatre teacher.  She runs the free monthly Play Readings at the library ( when she is not globetrotting which seems to be every Fall and Winter) and coruns, with Kerry MacArthur, the monthly Film Club meetings.  She can be seen in the locally filmed sketch comedy  series Southern Interior on YouTube (##southerninteriorseries).  Her story about her dealing with Cancer can be seen on the locally filmed and produced, Her Nose, and her romps around the globe can be seen in her newly formed Instagram #WanderinGranny.  She encourages everyone to get involved and always try new things!

Ali Temesy

Board Member and Director

Ali has come full circle in her career. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and working in Personal Development/Management Training in the United Kingdom, she returned to Canada and to University, in later life, to study Psychology.

Ali obtained her BA in Psychology and Masters in Counselling Psychology and worked as a psychotherapist for some years. Viewing the world from these two different paradigms (art vs. science) has allowed her to appreciate diverse perspectives. Ali is enjoying working with creatives again and returning to her artistic side of life as a film-maker.
