What’s So Great About Old Movies?

It is a new Creston Valley lecture series exploring early cinema to find out why these films are still so wonderful. Organized by Kerry McArthur of the Bleeding Tree International who is a friend of Creston Valley Film Society.

Contact Kerry McArthur at (250) 431-8304 for more information.

The Film Club meets in the back meeting room of the Creston Valley Library to watch and discuss the movie with other film aficionados — and to enjoy some popcorn and treats while we’re at it.

Admission free. Please check the date below or in our calendar.

Upcoming dates to be determined.

Creston Play reading Club

This is a chance for anyone who wants to dip their toes into the theatre community without the hassle of a large commitment, or if someone would love to be a part of a book club but doesn't have the time to read on their own.

A great way to make friends, have fun and see what hidden talents you may have.

All are invited, you can be a part of the read or you can just come to listen to the play and be a part of the discussion and your opinion may help decide what plays The Footlighters put on for their season!

Admission free.
